Two years ago, in April 2010–when I was about six and a half months pregnant with my daughter–my husband and I traveled to Turkey. Sandwiched between a few days in Istanbul, which you can read about here, we spent time at the The Butterfly boutique hotel in Bodrum. It closed soon after our visit, so I never wrote about it. But here’s some good news: It just reopened in a new building. Children under 14 aren’t accepted, but check it out if you’re planning a romantic trip. While I didn’t stay in this actual space, the owner is the real draw. He’s an amazingly kind and resourceful host. And the new digs look pretty awesome.
